Win dow Foggin g
Win ter Operation
Vehicle wind ows tend to fog on the insid e in mild rainy
or hu mid weather. To clear the wind ows, use the A/ C
button to red uce the hu midity insid e the vehicle.
To insu re the best possible heater and defroster perfor-
mance, make sure the engine cooling system is function-
ing prop erly and the prop er amount, typ e, and concen-
tration of coolant is used . Refer to section 7, Maintenance
Proced ures, of this manu al for prop er coolant selection.
Use of the air Recircu lation mode during winter months
is not recom mend ed becau se it may cause wind ow
fogging.
Fogging on the insid e of the wind shield can be quickly
rem oved by pressing the defrost button and increasing
the blow er speed .
Do not use the Recircu lation mode withou t the A/ C
button for long period s as fogging may occur.
Vacation Storage
Outsid e Air Intak e
Anytim e you store you r vehicle, or keep it out of service
(i.e. vacation) for two weeks or more, run the air cond i-
tioning system at idle for abou t five minu tes in the fresh
air and high blow er setting. This will insu re adequ ate
