Tilt Mirrors in Reverse (Available with Memory
Seat Only) — If Equipped
TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE HOOD
To open the hood , two latches must be released . First pull
the hood release lever located und er the left side of the
instru ment panel.
This additional featu re provid es autom atic outsid e mir-
ror positioning which will aid the driver’s view of the
grou nd rearw ard of the front doors. The outsid e mirrors
will move slightly downw ard from the present position
when the vehicle is shifted into the Reverse position. The
outsid e mirrors will then retu rn to the original position
when the vehicle is shifted out of Reverse position. Each
stored memory setting will have an associated Tilt Mir-
rors in Reverse position.

NOTE: The Tilt Mirrors in Reverse featu re is not en-
abled when delivered from the factory. The Tilt Mirrors in
Reverse featu re can be enabled or disabled throu gh the
custom er program mable featu res in the Electronic Ve-
hicle Inform ation Center (EVIC), refer to “Tilt Mirrors in
Reverse?” und er “Use Factory Settings”.
