Defrost Mode
NOTE: For improved safety, the compressor is activated
and the recircu lation mode is deactivated when Mix or
Defrost modes are selected . This is done to assist in
drying the air and it will help in keep ing the wind ows
from fogging.
Manual Air Conditioning Operation
To turn on the air cond itioning, set the front
blow er control to any speed and press the A/ C
button which is located next to the recircu lation
button. An ind icator light on the A/ C button show s that
the air cond itioning is on.
NOTE: The ind icator light in the “POWER” button must

be on for the climate control system to operate.
Air comes from the wind shield and side wind ow demist
outlets. Use this setting when necessary to defrost you r
wind shield and side wind ows.
Cool dehu midified air comes throu gh the outlets selected
by the Mod e Control. To turn off the air cond itioning,
press the A/ C button a second time. The ind icator light
will turn off.
