THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
Using The Panic Alarm:
Programming Additional Transmitters
To activate the Panic mode while the ignition is OFF press
and release the PANIC button on the transm itter once.
When the Panic mode is activated , the interior lights will
illuminate, the head lamps and parking lights will flash,
and the horn will sou nd .
Refer to SENTRY KEY “Cu stom er Key Program ming.”
NOTE: If you do not have a program med transm itter,
contact you r authorized dealer for assistance.
Battery Replacement
The recom mend ed rep lacem ent battery is CR2032 bat-
tery.
To cancel the Panic mode press and release the PANIC
button on the transm itter a second time. Panic mode will
autom atically cancel after 3 minu tes or if the vehicle is
started and exceed s 15 mph. During the Panic Mod e, the
door locks and rem ote keyless entry system s will func-
tion norm ally. Panic mode will not disarm the security
system on vehicles so equ ipped.
NOTE: Perchlorate Material — special hand ling may

NOTE: Do not tou ch the battery term inals that are on
the back hou sing or the printed circuit board .
NOTE: When you turn off the panic alarm by pressing
the PANIC button a second time, you may have to be
closer to the vehicle due to the rad io frequ ency noises of
the system .

With the transm itter buttons facing down, use a small
screw driver or similar flat object to pry the two halves of
the transm itter apart. Make sure not to damage the
rubber gasket during rem oval.
