Reprogramming a Single HomeLinkா Buttons
To re-p rogram a channel that has been previou sly
trained , follow these step s:
If you unp lugged the device for training, plug it back in
at this time.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/ RUN position.
2. Press and hold the desired HomeLink button for 20 3
second s until the red ind icator starts to flash, or the EVIC
display states “CH ANNEL # TRAIN ING.”DO NOT
RELEASE THE BUTTO N.
Then proceed with the rem aining step s.
Using HomeLinkா
To operate, simply press and release the program med
HomeLink button. Activation will now occur for the
trained device (i.e. garage door opener, gate operator,
security system , entry door lock, hom e/ office lighting,
etc.). The hand -held transm itter of the device may also be
used at any time.
3. WITH OUT RELEASIN G THE BUTTO N, proceed
with PRO GRAM MING HOMELINK Step #2 and fol-
low all rem aining step s.
Security
It is advised to erase all channels before you sell or turn
in you r vehicle.
