In the event of an impact that causes airbag deploym ent,
with the vehicle stop ped, and the vehicle communication
netw ork intact, and the power intact, the Enhanced
Accident Response System perform s the follow ing func- 2
tions:
WARN ING!
Deployed airb ags, fron t seat belt preten sion ers and
driver inflatab le knee block er cannot protect you in
anoth er collision . Have the airb ags, fron t seat belt
preten sion ers and driver inflatab le knee block er (if
equipped) rep laced by an authorized dealer as soon
as possib le.

Cuts off fuel to the engine
Flashes hazard lights
Turns on the interior lights approxim ately 10 second s
after the vehicle has stop ped moving, and will rem ain
on as long as the battery has power or until the
ignition key is rem oved
Enhanced Accid ent Resp onse
If the airbags and seat belt pretensioners deploy after an
impact and the electrical system rem ains functional,
vehicles equ ipped with power door locks will unlock
autom atically. In addition, approxim ately 10 second s
after the vehicle has stop ped moving, the interior lights
will illuminate until the ignition switch is turned off.
