THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
If desired , the “Au to Door Locks?” featu re can be turned
on or off by using the follow ing proced ure:
4. Within 15 second s cycle the key from the LOCK
position to the ON/ RUN position a minim um of four
times; end ing in the LOCK position (Do not start the
engin e).

On electronic vehicle inform ation center (EVIC)
equ ipped vehicles refer to “Au to Door Locks?” und er
“Use Factory Settings?” in the EVIC section of this
manu al.
5. Within 30 second s, press the driver’s door lock switch
in the LOCK direction.

On non EVIC - equ ipped vehicles perform the follow -
ing step s:
6. A single chim e will be heard to ind icate the featu re has
been disabled .

7. To reactivate this featu re, rep eat the above step s.

Enter you r vehicle and close all doors.
8. If a chim e is not heard , program mode was canceled
before the featu re could be disabled . If necessary, rep eat
this proced ure.

Fasten you r seat belt (Fastening the seat belt will

This featu re unlocks all of the doors of the vehicle when
any door is opened . This will occur only after the vehicle
has been driven (shifted out of Park with all doors
closed ) and then shifted back into the Park position.

Place the key into the ignition.
