Refrigeran t Recovery And Recyclin g
WARN ING!
R-134a Air Cond itioning Refrigerant is a hyd roflu orocar-
bon (HFC) that is end orsed by the Environm ental Pro-
tection Agency and is an ozone-saving prod uct. How-
ever, the manu factu rer recom mend s that air cond itioning
service be perform ed by dealers or other service facilities
using recovery and recycling equ ipment.

Use only refrigeran ts and compressor lubrican ts
approved by the manufactu rer for you r air condi-
tion ing system . Som e unapproved refrigeran ts are
flam mable and can explod e, injurin g you . Other
unapproved refrigeran ts or lubrican ts can cause
the system to fail, req uirin g costly rep airs. Refer to
Section 3 of the Warran ty Inform ation book for
furth er warran ty inform ation .
NOTE: Use only manu factu rer approved A/ C System
Sealers, Stop Leak Prod ucts, Seal Cond itioners, Com pres-
sor Oil, or Refrigerants.

The air condition ing system contain s refrigeran t
under high pressu re. To avoid risk of person al
injury or damage to the system , adding refrigeran t
or any rep air req uirin g lin es to be discon nected
should be done by an experien ced rep airm an.
A/C Air Filter
The filter access door is located und er the instru ment
panel on the passenger side. To rep lace the filter slide the
lock tow ard the rear of the vehicle (unlock position).
Remove the access door and pull the filter downw ard .
When installing a new filter, ensu re its prop er orienta-
tion. Align the black arrow on the bottom of the filter
fram e with the direction of airflow (away from the
blow er motor and tow ard s the center of the car).
