The rain sensing system has protective featu res for the
wiper blad es and arm s. It will not operate und er the
follow ing cond itions:

Low Temperatu re Wip e Inhibit — The rain sensing
featu re will not operate when the ignition is first
switched ON, and the vehicle is stationary, and the
outsid e tem peratu re is below 32°F (0°C), unless the
wiper control on the multifunction lever is moved , or
the vehicle speed becom es greater than 0 mph
not operational when the vehicle is in the rem ote start
mode. Once the operator is in the vehicle and has
placed the ignition switch in the RUN position, rain
sensing wiper operation can resu me, if it has been
selected , and no other inhibit cond itions (mentioned
previou sly) exist.
