Airb ag Warn ing Ligh t

You will want to have the airbags read y to
inflate for you r protection in a collision. While
the airbag system is designed to be mainte- 2
nance free, if any of the follow ing occurs, have
an authorized dealer service the system immediately.
•
Do not attem pt to modify any part of you r ad-
van ced airb ag system . The airb ag may inflate
accid entally or may not function prop erly if modi-
fication s are made. Take you r veh icle to an autho-
rized dealer for any advan ced airb ag system ser-
vice. If you r seat, including you r trim cover and
cushion , need s to be serviced in any way (includ-
ing rem oval or loosen ing/tigh ten ing of seat attach -
ment bolts), tak e the veh icle to you r authorized
dealer. Only manufactu rer approved seat accesso-
ries may be used . If it is necessary to modify an
advan ced airb ag system for person s with disab ili-
ties, contact you r authorized dealer.

The Airbag Warning Light does not come on for
approxim ately four to six second s when the ignition
switch is first turned ON.

The light rem ains on after the approxim ate four to
six-second interval.
The light comes on and rem ains on while driving.
NOTE: If the speed ometer, tachom eter, or any engine
related gau ges are not working, the Occupant Restraint
Controller (ORC) may also be disabled . The airbags may
not be read y to inflate for you r protection. Prom ptly
check the fuse block for blow n fuses. Refer to the label
