NOTE: Mixing engine coolant (antifreeze) typ es will
decrease the life of the engine coolant (antifreeze) and
will requ ire more frequ ent coolant changes.

Coolin g System Pressu re Cap
caution . Never add engin e coolan t (antifreeze)
when the engin e is overh eated . Do not loosen or
rem ove the cap to cool an overh eated engin e. Heat
causes pressu re to build up in the coolin g system .
To preven t scald ing or injury, do not rem ove the
pressu re cap while the system is hot or under
pressu re.
The cap must be fully tightened to prevent the loss of
engine coolant (antifreeze), and to ensu re that engine
coolant (antifreeze) will retu rn to the rad iator from the
coolant recovery bottle.
The cap shou ld be insp ected and cleaned if there is any
accumulation of foreign material on the sealing surfaces.

Do not use a pressu re cap oth er than the one
specified for you r veh icle. Person al injury or en-
gin e damage may resu lt.

Used ethylene glycol-based engine coolant (antifreeze) is
a regu lated substance requ iring prop er disposal. Check
with you r local authorities to determ ine the disposal
