STARTING AND OPERATING
The electrical connections are all complete to the vehicle
but you must mate the harness to a trailer connector.
Refer to the follow ing four-pin connector and seven-p in
connector illustrations.

Towing any trailer will increase you r stop ping
distan ce. When tow ing you should allow for addi-
tion al space betw een you r veh icle and the veh icle
in fron t of you . Failu re to do so could resu lt in an
accid ent.

Whenever you pull a trailer, regard less of the trailer size,
stop lights and turn signals on the trailer are requ ired for
motoring safety.
The Trailer Tow Package may inclu de a four-pin or a
seven-p in wiring harness. Use a factory approved trailer
harness and connector.

NOTE: Do not cut or splice wiring into the vehicles
wiring harness.
