Defrost Mode
NOTE:

In cold or damp weather, the use of the RECIRCULA-
TION mode will cause wind ows to fog on the insid e
becau se of moistu re buildup insid e the vehicle. For
maxim um defogging, select the outsid e air position.
Recircu lation Con trol
Press this button to choose betw een outsid e air
intake or recircu lation of the air insid e the
vehicle. A lamp will illuminate when you are in
RECIRCULATION mode. Only use the RECIR-
CULATION mode to tem porarily block out any outsid e
odors, smoke, or dust, and to cool the interior rap idly
upon initial start-u p in very hot or hu mid weather.
In ord er to prevent fogging, when the RECIRCULA-
TION button is pressed and the mode control is set to
PANEL, the A/ C will engage autom atically.
