When rear controls are locked by the front system , the
LOCK sym bol on the tem peratu re knob is illuminated
and any rear overhead adjustm ents are ignored .

Interior air enters the Rear Autom atic Temperatu re
Con trol System throu gh an intak e grille, located in
the passen ger sid e trim panel behind the third row
seats. The heater outlets are located in the passen ger
sid e trim panel, just behind the slid ing door. Do not
block or place objects directly in fron t of the inlet
grille or heater outlets. The electrical system could
overload causin g damage to the blow er motor.
Rear Mode Con trol
Auto Mode
The rear system autom atically maintains the correct
mode and comfort level desired by the rear seat occu-
pants.

Head lin er Mode
Air comes from the outlets in the head liner. Each of
these outlets can be ind ivid ually adjusted to direct
the flow of air. Moving the air vanes of the outlets to one
side will shu t off the airflow.
Rear Temperatu re Con trol
To change the tem peratu re in the rear of the vehicle,
rotate the tem peratu re knob counterclockw ise to lower
the tem peratu re, and clockw ise to increase the tem pera-
ture. The REAR tem peratu re settings are displayed in the Bi-Level Mode
front upper ATC panel.
Air comes from both the head liner outlets and the
floor outlets.
