THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

Durin g power operation , person al injury or cargo
damage may occur. Ensure the liftgate travel path is
clear. Make sure the liftgate is closed and latch ed
before drivin g away.
NOTE:
•
If anything obstru cts the power liftgate while it is
closing or opening, the liftgate will autom atically
reverse to the closed or open position, provid ed it
meets sufficient resistance.
Rear Pow er Liftgate Switch

There are also pinch sensors attached to the side of the
liftgate opening. Light pressu re anyw here along these
strip s will cause the liftgate to retu rn to the open
position.
When the RKE transm itter button is pressed and the
Flash Lights featu re is enabled , the tail lights will flash to
signal that the liftgate is opening or closing.
