Press and hold the CMTC reset button (for approxi-
mately 10 second s) until the current variance zone nu m-
ber is displayed .

Release the CMTC reset button, then press and hold
again for approxim ately 10 second s, until the direction is
displayed , with the CAL ind icator on continu ously in the
display.

To complete the compass calibration, drive the vehicle
in one or more complete 360–degree circles, und er 5 mph

metallic objects, until the CAL ind icator turns off. The
compass will now function norm ally.
Electron ic Vehicle Inform ation Cen ter (EVIC)
This system conveniently allow s the driver to select a
variety of useful inform ation by pressing the switches
mounted on the steering wheel. The EVIC consists of the
follow ing:
