UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
The  SNOWFLAKE  mode,  or  A/ C  button,  allow s   Recircu  lation  Con trol
the operator   to manu ally activate  or deactivate   the
air  cond itioning  system .  When  in  SNOWFLAKE
mode,  and  the  ATC display  is  on cool,  dehu midified  air
flows  throu gh   the  air  outlets.   If  ECON OMY  mode  is
When   outsid e  air  contains   smoke,   odors,  or
high  hu midity,  or  if rap id  cooling  is  desired ,
you   may  wish   to  recircu late  interior    air  by
pressing   the  RECIRCULATION  mode   control
desired ,  press  the  SNOWFLAKE  button   to  turn  off  the    button.   RECIRCULATION  mode   shou ld  only  be  used
SNOWFLAKE  mode  in  the ATC  display,  and  deactivate     tem porarily.  The  recircu lation  sym bol will  illuminate   in
the A/  C system .

NOTE:
If the  system  is  in Mix  or  Defrost  Mod e, the  SNOW-
FLAKE can  be  turned   off, but  the  A/  C system   shall    NOTE:    In cold  weather,   use  of the  RECIRCULATION
rem ain active  to prevent   fogging  of the  wind ows.

CIRCULATION  mode  is not allow ed in  the FLOOR, MIX
and  DEFROST  modes  to  improve   wind ow  clearing  op-
eration.   Recircu lation  will  be  disabled   autom atically   if
these  modes  are  selected .
If fog or  mist appears   on the  wind shield  or side  glass,
select  DEFROST mode  and  increase  blow er speed .
