THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

Brake switch inactive (brake pedal not pressed )
To Enter Rem ote Start Mode
Press and release the REMOTE START button

Battery at an accep table charge level
RKE PANIC button not pressed
on the RKE transm itter twice within five sec-
ond s. The parking lights will flash and the horn
will chirp twice (if program med). Then, the
engine will start and the vehicle will rem ain in the
Remote Start mode for a 15-minu te cycle.
WARN ING!
NOTE:

Do not start or run an engin e in a closed garage or
confin ed area. Exhaust gas contain s Carb on Mon-
oxid e (CO) which is odorless and colorless. Car-
bon monoxid e is poison ous and can cause seriou s
injury or death when inhaled .

If you r power door locks were unlocked , Remote Start
will autom atically lock the doors.

eration (if equ ipped) are disabled when the vehicle is
in the Remote Start mode.
