not recom mend ed, as it will not provid e any benefit over
regu lar gasoline in these engines.
Reformulated Gasoline
Many areas of the country requ ire the use of cleaner
burning gasoline referred to as “Reform ulated Gasoline”.

Light spark knock at low engine speed s is not harm ful to
you r engine. However, continu ed heavy spark knock at
high speed s can cause damage and immediate service is
requ ired .
Reform ulated gasolines contain oxygenates, and are spe-
cifically blend ed to red uce vehicle emissions and im-
prove air quality.
The manu factu rer supports the use of reform ulated gaso-
lines. Prop erly blend ed reform ulated gasolines will pro-
vid e excellent perform ance and durability of engine and
fuel system components.
Poor quality gasoline can cause problem s such as hard
starting, stalling and hesitations. If you experience these
sym ptom s, try another brand of “regu lar” gasoline be-
fore consid ering service for the vehicle.
