Use only brak e flu id that has been in a tigh tly
closed contain er (both as to bottles and the master
cylin der rem ain ing covered ) to avoid contam ina-
tion from foreign matter or moistu re. Brak e flu id,
unlik e many oth er flu ids, actu ally absorb s mois-
ture from the air. This low ers the boilin g poin t of
the flu id and may cause it to boil durin g hard
brak ing and create a soft pedal pressu re resistan ce
as the gas compresses. This condition does not
apply adequate pressu re to the brak es to function
prop erly.

Use of a brak e flu id that may have a low er initial
boilin g poin t, or is unidentified as to specification ,
or which may occur by leavin g the top of you r
master cylin der reservoir uncovered or the top off
of the brak e flu id bottle off, allow ing it to absorb
moistu re may resu lt in sudden brak e failu re dur-
ing hard prolon ged brak ing. You could have an
accid ent.

Overfillin g the brak e flu id reservoir can resu lt in
spillin g brak e flu id on hot engin e parts and the
brak e flu id catch ing fire.
Do not allow petroleu m based flu id to contam i-
nate the brak e flu id, all brak e seal components
could be damaged , causin g partial or complete
brak e failu re lead ing to a crash .
