The Basic  TPMS consists  of the  follow ing  components:
NOTE:    The  vehicle  may   need  to  be  driven  for  up  to
minu tes  above   15  mph   (25  km/ h)   to  receive  this
inform ation.

Four  Tire Pressu re Monitoring   Sensors
TPMS Telltale  Warning  Light
The  “TPMS  Warning   Lamp”  will   flash  on  and  off  for
75 second s, and   rem ain on  solid when   a system  fault  is
detected . The  system  fault will  also sou nd a chim e. If the
ignition  key  is cycled , this  sequ ence will  rep eat, provid -
ing  the   system  fault   still  exists.   The  “TPMS  Warning
Lamp”  will  turn  off when   the  fault  cond ition no  longer
exists. A system  fault  can occur  with any  of the follow ing
scenarios:
Tire  Pressu re Monitorin   g Low  Tire Pressu  re
Warn ings
The  “TPMS  Telltale  Warning  Light”  will  illu-
minate   in  the  instru ment  cluster,   and  an  au-
dible chim e will be activated   when one  or more
of the  four  active  road   tire  pressu res are  low.

Shou ld this  occur,  you  shou ld  stop  as soon  as  possible,    1.  Jamming   due  to electronic  devices   or driving   next  to
check  the inflation   pressu re of each  tire  on you r vehicle,    facilities  emitting  the sam e rad io frequ encies as the TPMS
and  inflate  each  tire  to the  vehicle’s  recom mend ed  cold
tire   pressu re   valu e  (located   on   the   placard    on   the
driver’s-sid  e  B-Pillar).   The  system   will   autom atically
update   and  the  “TPMS Warning   Lamp”  will  extingu ish
once  the updated   tire  pressu res  have  been received .
