WARN ING!
NOTE: It is recom mend ed that a new battery be placed
in the hand -held transm itter of the device being pro-
gram med to HomeLink for quicker training and accurate
transm ission of the rad io frequ ency signal.
Your motorized door or gate will open and close
while you are program ming HomeLin k. Do not
program HomeLin k if peop le or pets are in the path
of the door or gate. A movin g door or gate can cause
seriou s injury or death to peop le and pets or damage
to objects.

Vehicle exhaust contain s carb on monoxid e, a danger-
ous gas. Do not run the veh icle’s engin e while
program ming HomeLin k. Exhaust gas can cause se-
riou s injury or death .
1. Position the end of you r hand -held transm itter 1-3
inches (5-14 cm) away from the lower left corner of the
EVIC display while keep ing the display in view.
NOTE: Some gate operators and garage door openers
may requ ire you to rep lace the next step with proced ures
noted in the ЉGate Operator/ Canad ian Program mingЉ
section.

Simultaneou sly press and hold both the desired
HomeLink button and the hand -held transm itter button.
