THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY
To Unlock the Doors and Liftgate
Press and release the “Unlock” button on the key fob
once to unlock the driver’s door, or twice (within 5
second s) to unlock all doors and liftgate. The illuminated
entry system will also come on.
NOTE: The system can be program med to do the
follow ing:

unlock all the doors on the first button press
flash the turn signals with unlock
On vehicles equ ipped with an overhead console these
functions can be selected at the overhead console
using the “Cu stom er Program mable Featu res.” Refer
to “Overhead Console — Custom er Program mable
Featu res” in this section, otherw ise see you r autho-
rized dealer.
This system allow s you to lock or unlock the doors and
liftgate or activate the panic alarm from distances up to
abou t 23 feet (7 meters) using a hand held rad io trans-
mitter. The transm itter need not be pointed at the vehicle
to activate the system .
