STARTING AND OPERATING
WARN ING!
Leavin g child  ren  unatten ded   in a  veh icle is  dan-
gerou s for  a number   of  reason s. A child  or  oth ers
could  be  injured  . Child ren  should  be  warn ed  not
to  tou ch  the  park ing   brak e  or  the  gear  selector
lever.  Don’t  leave the  keys  in the  ign ition . A child
could  operate   power   windows,   oth er controls,   or
move  the  veh icle.
Do  not  leave   child ren  or  animals   insid e  park ed
veh icles  in  hot   weath er.  Interior    heat  build    up
may  cause  seriou s injury   or  death .
Be  sure  the   parking   brake   is  fully  disengaged    before
driving.  Failu re to  do  so can  lead to  brake  failu re.
To release   the parking   brake,  pull  up  slightly,  press  the
center  button,  then  lower  the  lever  completely.
NOTE:     Parking   brake   adjustm  ent   and   maintenance
shou ld be  perform ed  by you r authorized   dealer.
