UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
TILT STEERING COLUMN
WARN ING!
To tilt the column,  pull  the small  lever, located  behind  the
turn  signal  control,  tow ard  you and  move  the  wheel  up
or down,   as desired .  Release the  lever  to  lock the  wheel
firm ly in place.
Tiltin g the  steerin  g wheel  colu mn  while  the  veh icle
is  movin g  is  dangerou  s.  With out  a  stab le  steerin g
colu mn,  you  could   lose  control   of  the  veh icle  and
have  an accid ent.  Adjust  the  tiltin g  mechanism   only
while   the  veh icle  is  stop ped.   Be  sure  it  is  lock ed
before  drivin  g.
ADJUSTABLE PEDALS — IF EQUIPPED
This featu re allow s both  the brake  and  accelerator  pedals
to move  tow ard the  driver  to provid  e improved  position
with  the  steering  wheel.  The  adjustable   pedal  system   is
designed   to allow   a greater  range   of driver   comfort  for
steering  wheel  tilt  and  seat  position.  The  position  of the
brake  and   accelerator   pedals   can  be  adjusted    withou t
comprom ising  safety  or  comfort  in actu ating  the pedals.
