The defroster will autom atically turn off after abou t ten
minu tes. For abou t five more minu tes of operation, push
the button again. To prevent excessive battery drain, use
the defroster only when the engine is operating. The push
button also activates the heated exterior mirrors, if so
equ ipped.
CAUTIO N!
Use care when wash ing the insid e of the rear win-
dow to preven t damage to heatin g elem ents. Use a
soft cloth and a mild wash ing solu tion , wiping
parallel to the heatin g elem ents. Also, keep all
objects a safe distan ce from the window to preven t
damagin g the heatin g elem ents.
