Tire Changing Procedure

is being changed , block the
left rear wheel.
Prep aration
WARN ING!
You can be injured or killed if you try to change a
wheel too close to movin g traffic. Pull far enough off
the road to avoid bein g hit when operatin g the jack
or changin g the wheel.
Instru ction s
Remove the spare tire from und er the cargo floor, jack
and jack tools from und er the left and right rear seat.

Loosen the lug nu ts one-half turn counterclockw ise.

Park on a firm , level surface well off the road to
provid e ample work space. Put the transm ission in P
(Park) and stop the engine. Set the parking brake
firm ly and activate the hazard warning flasher.

jack hand le driver (A) to extension (B), then to the lug
wrench (C).
Assem ble the jack and jacking tools as show n. Connect
Avoid jacking up the vehicle with occupants insid e. If
the jack shou ld fall, som eone in the vehicle could be
hu rt.
