Seat Belt Indica tor Light
If the light rem ains on after start-u p, or comes on and
stays on at road speed s, it may ind icate that the ABS has
detected a malfunction or has becom e inop erative. In this
case, the system reverts to stand ard non-antilock brakes.
When the ignition switch is first turned ON, this
light will turn on for 5 to 8 second s as a bulb check.
During the bulb check, if the driver’s seat belt is
unbu ckled , a chim e will sou nd . After the bulb check or
when driving, if the driver seat belt rem ains unbu ckled ,
the Seat Belt Warning Light will flash or rem ain on
continu ously. Refer to ЉEnhanced Driver Seat Belt Re-
mind er System (BeltAlert™)Љ in the Occupant Restraints
section for more inform ation.
Turn the engine off and on again to reset the Antilock
Brake System . If the light rem ains on, see you r autho-
rized dealer. If both the red BRAKE and amber ABS 4
warning lights are on, see you r authorized dealer imme-
diately.

Anti-Lock Warning Light
The pointer show s the level of fuel in the fuel tank when
the ignition key is in the ON position. A small arrow
ind icates the side of the vehicle where the filler cap (gas
cap) is located .
The amber ABS warning light will come on when
the ignition is first turned on, and stay on briefly
as a bulb check. If the bulb does not come on during
starting, have the bulb rep aired prom ptly. This light also
illuminates to ind icate that the Antilock Brake System
self-check is in process at vehicle start-u p.
