NOTE:     Since  the   rain  sensor    is  designed    to  detect
moistu re,  road  spray, smashed   bugs,  and  moistu re  from
passing  tru cks may occasionally  cause  the wipers  to cycle
if the lever  is in AUTO. Also, manu al intervention   may be
necessary   und er   certain   cond itions:  Additional    wipes
may  be  desired ,  in  foggy/ misty   mornings,   where  con-
densation   builds   up  very  slow ly on  the  wind shield , or
when  water  accumulated   on  the  roof of the  vehicle  runs
down  the  wind shield , but  not  over the  sensor.
CAUTIO N!
Turn  the   wiper  lever   to  the  OFF  position   to  avoid
wiper   damage   when  drivin  g  throu gh  an  autom atic
car wash  .

WARN ING!
Turn   the   wiper   lever   to   the  OFF   position    when
clean ing  you r windshield    to avoid  injury.
Fewer  wipes  and / or washer   fluid  may be  desired  when
salty  road spray  is  encou ntered , where  the operator   may
want  to turn   the “Au to”  featu re off and  use  the “Wash”
and / or “Mist”  functions.
