updates   the display.  The  TPM system   is not  intend ed  to
provid e you  with  notification   of rap id air  loss.
CAUTIO N!
The TPM  system  has  been  optim ized  for the  origin al
equipment    tires  and  wheels.   TPM system   pressu res
have  been  estab lish ed  for  the  tire  size  equipped   on
you r veh icle.  Undesirab  le operation    or sen sor  dam-
age  may  resu lt when   usin g rep lacem ent  equipment
that   is  not   of   the   sam e  size,   typ e,  and/or   style.
Afterm ark et  wheels   can  cause   sen sor  damage.   Do
not  use  tire sealan  t or  balan ce bead s  if you r veh icle
is  equipped    with    TPM  system   as   damage   to  the
sen sors  may resu lt.
The  follow ing chart  ind icates  the  TPM  system  pressu re
levels.  A threshold  is  the level  at which  the  TPM system
provid es  you with  an  ind ication.
High  Pressu re Threshold
Placard  Pressu re  (Cold )
Low  Pressu re Threshold
45 psi  (310 kPa )
33 psi  (227 kPa)
25 psi  (172 kPa)
NOTE:     A  TPM  system   does  not  rep lace  norm al  tire
main ten ance.
Tire Pressure Monitor System Tire/Wheel
Rotation and Sensor Replacement —  If Equipped
With  the 5  Tire TPM System , if  a road  tire  and  wheel  is
rep laced  by  the  spare,  the  TPM  system  will  detect   the
swap  autom  atically  (after  the  ignition  has  been  cycled )
