When you rem ove the key from the ignition switch,
the driver seat will move to a position 1.2 inches (30
mm) forw ard of the rear stop if the driver seat position
is betw een 2.4 inches and 3.5 inches (60 mm and 90
mm) forw ard of the rear stop . The seat will retu rn to its
previou sly set position when you insert the key into
the ignition switch and turn it out of the LOCK
position.
TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE HOOD
Two latches must be released to open the hood . First, pull
the hood release lever located und er the left side of the
instru ment panel.

The Easy Entry/ Easy Exit featu re is disabled when the
driver seat position is less than 2.4 inches (60 mm)
forw ard of the rear stop . At this position, there is no
benefit to the driver by moving the seat for Easy Exit
or Easy Entry.
Each stored memory setting will have an associated Easy
Entry and Easy Exit position.
Hood Release Lever
NOTE: The Easy Entry/ Easy Exit featu re can be en-
abled or disabled throu gh the program mable featu res in
the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC). For
details, refer to “Au tom atically Move Seat Back on Exit,”
und er “Personal Settings (Custom er Program mable Fea-
tures),” und er “Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center
(EVIC)” in Section 4 of this manu al.
