Usin g ACC on Hills
ACC will not detect a vehicle until it is completely in the
lane in which you are travelling. In the illustration
show n, ACC has not yet detected the vehicle changing
lanes, and it will not until it may be too late to take action.
ACC will not detect a vehicle until it is completely in the
lane. There will not be sufficient distance to the lane-
changing vehicle. Alw ays be attentive and read y to apply
the brakes if necessary.
When driving on hills, ACC may not detect a vehicle in
you r lane. Dep end ing on the speed , vehicle load , traffic
cond itions, and the steep ness of the hills, ACC perfor-
mance may be limited .
