than they really are. Relyin g too much on you r
passen ger sid e convex mirror could cause you to
collid e with anoth er veh icle or oth er object. Use you r
insid e mirror when judgin g the size or distan ce of a
veh icle seen in the passen ger sid e convex mirror.
To avoid damage to the mirror durin g clean ing,
never spray any clean ing solu tion directly onto the
mirror. Apply the solu tion onto a clean cloth and
wipe the mirror clean .

Outside Mirrors
To receive maxim um benefit, adjust the outsid e mirror(s)
to center on the adjacent lane of traffic and a slight
overlap of the view obtained from the insid e mirror.
Exterior Mirrors Folding Feature — If Equipped
Some models have exterior mirrors that are hinged . The
hinge allow s the mirror to pivot forw ard and rearw ard to
resist damage. The hinge has three detent positions, full
forw ard , full rearw ard , and norm al.
NOTE: The passenger side convex outsid e mirror will
give a much wider view to the rear, and especially of the
lane next to you r vehicle.
Outside Mirror Auto Dimmer — If Equipped
This mirror autom atically adjusts for annoying head light
glare from vehicles behind you . You can turn this featu re
on or off by pressing the button at the base of the Insid e
Rearview Mirror. This featu re is also available on the
passenger outsid e mirror of mirrors equ ipped with turn
signal and approach lighting.
