UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE

For certain operations, compound command s can be
used . For exam ple, instead of saying ЉSetupЉ and then
ЉPhone Pairing,Љ the follow ing compound command
can be said :ЉSetup Phone Pairing.Љ
To activate the UConnect™ system from idle, simply
press the ’Phone’ button and follow audible prom pts for
directions. All UConnect™ system sessions begin with a
press of the ’Phone’ button on the mirror.

For each featu re explanation in this section, only the
combined form of the voice command is given. You
can also break the command s into parts and say each
part of the command , when you are asked for it. For
exam ple, you can use the combined form voice com-
mand ЉPhonebook New Entry,Љ or you can break the
combined form command into two voice command s:
ЉPhonebook Љ and ЉNew Entry.Љ Please rem ember, the
UConnect™ system works best when you talk in a
norm al conversational tone, as if speaking to som e one
sitting eight feet away from you .
Can cel Com mand
At any prom pt, after the voice on beep , you can say
ЉCancelЉ and you will be retu rned to the main menu .
However, in a few instances the system will take you
back to the previou s menu .
Pair (Link) UCon nect™ System to a Cellu lar Phone
To begin using you r UConnect™ system , you must pair
you r compatible Bluetooth™ enabled cellular phone.
NOTE: The UConnect™ system use requ ires a cellular
phone equ ipped with the Bluetooth ЉHand s-Free Profile,Љ
version 0.96 or higher. See www.chrysler.com / uconnect
for supported phones.

To complete the pairing process, you will need to refer-
ence you r cellular phone owner’s manu al. One of the
follow ing vehicle specific websites may also provid e
detailed instru ctions for pairing with the brand of phone
that you have:
Help Com mand
If you need assistance at any prom pt, or if you want to
know you r options are at any prom pt, say ЉHelpЉ follow -
ing the voice on beep . The UConnect™ system will play
all the options at any prom pt if you ask for help .
