STARTING PROCEDURES

Before starting you r vehicle, adjust you r seat, adjust the
insid e and outsid e mirrors, fasten you r seat belt, and if
present, instru ct all other occupants to buckle their seat
belts.

in the ign ition . A child could operate power

Do not leave animals or child ren insid e park ed
veh icles in hot weath er; interior heat build up
may cause seriou s injury or death .
Be sure to turn off the engin e if you want to rest or
sleep in you r car. Accid ents can be caused by
inadverten tly movin g the gear selection lever or
by pressin g the accelerator pedal. This may cause
excessive heat in the exhaust system , resu ltin g in
overh eatin g and veh icle fire, which may cause
seriou s or fatal injuries.
