passable in snow and ice, and chem icals that are sprayed
on trees and road surfaces during other seasons, are
highly corrosive to the metal in you r vehicle. Outsid e
parking, which exposes you r vehicle to airborne contam i-
nants, road surfaces on which the vehicle is operated ,

tions will have an adverse effect on paint, metal trim , and

If insects, tar, or other similar deposits have accumu-
lated on you r vehicle, use Mop ar Super Kleen Bug
and Tar Remover to rem ove.

The follow ing maintenance recom mend ations will enable
you to obtain maxim um benefit from the corrosion
resistance built into you r vehicle.
Use Mop ar Cleaner Wax to rem ove road film, stains
and to protect you r paint finish. Take care never to
scratch the paint.
What Cau ses Corrosion ?
Corrosion is the resu lt of deterioration or rem oval of
paint and protective coatings from you r vehicle.
Avoid using abrasive compound s and power buffing
that may diminish the gloss or thin out the paint
finish.
The most common causes are:
