THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
To Engage the Child Protection Door Lock
NOTE: When the child lock system is engaged , the door
can be opened only by using the outsid e door hand le
even thou gh the insid e door lock is in the unlocked
position.
1.
Open the rear door.
2.
Insert the tip of the vehicle’s ignition key or alike into
the child lock control and pull it upward .
WARN ING!
Avoid trap ping anyon e in a veh icle in a collision .
Rem ember that the rear doors can only be opened
from the outsid e when the child protection lock s are
engaged .
NOTE:
•
After engaging the child protection door lock system ,
alw ays test the door from the insid e to make certain it
is in the desired position.
