UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
“Rain Sen sin g Interm itten t Wip ers” — If Equipped
When ON is selected , the system will autom atically
activate the wind shield wipers if it senses moistu re on
the wind shield . To make you r selection, press and release
the FUNCTION SELECT button until “ON ” or “OFF”
appears. When OFF is selected , the system reverts to the
stand ard interm ittent wiper operation.
“Flash Ligh ts with Rem ote Key Lock”
When ON is selected , the front and rear turn signals will
flash when the doors are locked or unlocked with the
rem ote keyless entry transm itter. This featu re may be
selected with or withou t the sou nd horn on lock featu re
selected . To make you r selection, press and release the
FUNCTION SELECT button until “ON ” or “OFF” ap-
pears.
“Au tom atically Move Seat Back on Exit” — If
Equipped
“Head ligh ts On with Wip ers” (Availab le with Auto
Head ligh ts Only)
This featu re provid es autom atic driver seat positioning to
enhance driver mobility when entering and exiting the
vehicle. To make you r selection, press and release the
FUNCTION SELECT button until “ON ” or “OFF” ap-
pears.
When ON is selected , and the head light switch is in the
AUTO position, the head lights will turn on approxi-
mately 10 second s after the wipers are turned on. The
head lights will also turn off when the wipers are turned
off if they were turned on by this featu re. To make you r
selection, press and release the FUNCTION SELECT
button until “ON ” or “OFF” appears.
NOTE: The seat will retu rn to the memorized seat
location (if Recall Mem ory with Remote Key Unlock is set
to ON) when the rem ote keyless entry transm itter is used
to unlock the door. Refer to “Easy Entry/ Exit Seat” und er
“Driver Mem ory Seat” in Section 3 of this manu al for
more inform ation.
NOTE: Turning the head lights on during the daytim e
causes the instru ment panel lights to dim. To increase the
brightness, refer to “Lights” in Section 3 of this manu al.
