Seek Button
Tape Eject
Press the SEEK button up for the next selection on the
tap e and down to retu rn to the beginning of the current
selection.
Press this button and the cassette will disen-
gage and eject from the rad io.
Press the SEEK button up or down to move the track
nu mber to skip forw ard or backw ard 1 to 6 selections.
Press the SEEK button once to move 1 selection, twice to
move 2 selections, etc.
Scan Button
Press this button to play 10 second s of each selection.
Press the scan button a second time to cancel the featu re.

Changing Tape Direction
Fast Forward (FF)
If you wish to change the direction of tap e travel (side
being played ), press Preset 6. The lighted arrow in the
display wind ow will show the new direction.
Press the FF button up momentarily to advance the tap e
in the direction that it is playing. The tap e will advance
until the button is pressed again or the end of the tap e is
reached . At the end of the tap e, the tap e will play in the
opposite direction.
Metal Tape Selection
If a stand ard metal tap e is inserted into the player, the
player will autom atically select the correct equ alization.
Rewind (RW)
Press the RW button momentarily to reverse the tap e
direction. The tap e will reverse until the button is pressed
again or until the end of the tap e is reached . At the end of
the tap e, the tap e will play in the opposite direction.
Pinch Roller Release
If ignition power or the rad io ON/ OFF switch is turned
off, the pinch roller will autom atically retract to protect
the tap e from any damage. When power is restored to the
tap e player, the pinch roller will autom atically reengage
and the tap e will resu me play.
