FUEL REQUIREMENTS
Light spark knock at low engine speed s is not harm ful to
you r engine. However, continu ed heavy spark knock at
high speed s can cause damage and immediate service is
requ ired .

Your vehicle is designed to meet all emis-
sions regu lations and provid e satisfactory
fuel econom y and perform ance when us-
ing high quality unlead ed gasoline having
an octane of 87.
Poor quality gasoline can cause problem s such as hard
starting, stalling, and hesitations. If you experience these
sym ptom s, try another brand of “regu lar” gasoline be-
fore consid ering service for the vehicle.
