after 5 second s of no ACC activity.
Display Warnings & Maintenance
ACC Unavailab le Warn ing
The ACC Unavailable Warning will display when cond i-
tions tem porarily limit system perform ance. This most
often occurs at times of poor visibility, such as in snow,
fog, heavy rain, or when driving into direct sunlight
(sunrise or sunset). The ACC system may also becom e
tem porarily unavailable due to obstru ctions, such as dirt
or ice. In these cases, the EVIC will display “ACC
UNAVAILABLE.”
If weather cond itions are not a factor, the driver shou ld
exam ine the sensor. It may requ ire cleaning or rem oval of
an obstru ction. The sensor is located behind the grille,
slightly offset from the center of the grille.
