THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
To unlock the doors:
1. Press and hold the LOCK button on a program med
transm itter for at least 4 second s, but not longer than 10
second s. Then, press and hold the UNLOCK button
while still hold ing the LOCK button.
Press and release the UNLOCK button on the transm itter
once to unlock the driver’s door, or twice to unlock all
doors. The turn signal lights will flash to acknow ledge
the unlock signal. The illuminated entry system will also
turn on.

Release both buttons at the sam e time.

Test the featu re while outsid e of the vehicle, by
Rem ote Key Unlock , Driver Door/All Doors First
This featu re lets you program the system to unlock either
the driver’s door or all doors on the first press of the
UNLOCK button on the transm itter. To change the cur-
rent setting, proceed as follow s:
pressing the LOCK/ UNLOCK buttons on the transm itter
with the ignition in the LOCK position, and the key
rem oved .
4. Repeat these step s if you want to retu rn this featu re to
its previou s setting.

Inform ation Center (EVIC), refer to “Rem ote Key
Unlock,” und er “Personal Settings (Custom er Pro-
gram mable Featu res),” und er “Electronic Vehicle In-
form ation Center (EVIC)” in Section 4 of this manu al
for details.
NOTE: Pressing the LOCK button on the transm itter
while you are insid e the vehicle will activate the Security
Alarm . Opening a door with the Security Alarm activated
will cause the alarm to sou nd . Press the UNLOCK button
to deactivate the Security Alarm .
