ADJUSTABLE PEDALS — IF EQUIPPED
Press the switch rearw ard to move the pedals rearw ard
(tow ard the driver).
The adjustable pedals system is designed to allow a
greater range of driver comfort for steering wheel tilt and
seat position. This featu re allow s both the brake and
accelerator pedal to move tow ard or away from the
driver to provid e improved position with the steering
wheel. The switch is located on the front side of the
driver’s seat cushion side shield .

• The pedals can be adjusted while driving.
The pedals can be adjusted with the ignition OFF.

The pedals cannot be adjusted when the vehicle is in R
(Reverse) or when the Speed Control is ON. One of the
follow ing messages will display in the Electronic Ve-
hicle Inform ation Center (EVIC) — if equ ipped if a
pedal adjustm ent is attem pted when the system is
locked out: “Ad justable Ped al Disabled — Cru ise
Control Engaged ” or “Ad justable Ped al Disabled —
Vehicle In Reverse.”
NOTE: For vehicles equ ipped with Driver Mem ory
Seat, you can use you r rem ote keyless entry transm itter
or the memory switch on the driver’s door panel to
retu rn the adjustable pedals to pre-p rogram med posi-
tions. Refer to “Driver Mem ory Seat” in this section for
details.
Adjustab le Ped al Switch
Press the switch forw ard to move the pedals forw ard
(tow ard the front of the vehicle).
