1. At the Main Menu screen, highlight “Clock Setup”
and press ENTER OR press and hold for 3 second s the
TIME button on the unit’s facep late. The Clock Setu p
screen appears.
Map ping inform ation for navigation is supplied on a
DVD that is load ed into the unit. One map DVD covers
all of North America. Refer to you r “Navigation User’s
Manu al” for detailed operating instru ctions.

REC Setting the Clock
GPS Clock
The GPS receiver used in this system is synchronized to
the time data being transm itted by the GPS satellites. The
satellites’ clock is Greenw ich Mean Time (GMT). This is
the world wide stand ard for time. This makes the sys-
tem ’s clock very accurate once the approp riate time zone
and daylight savings inform ation is set.
2. To show the GPS clock, select “Disp layed Clock: GPS
Clock” and press ENTER.

To adjust the time zone, Select “Time Zone” and press
ENTER. Select the approp riate time zone and press
ENTER.
