ter or memory buttons on the driver’s door panel can be
used to recall the steering column tilt and telescop ic
positions. Refer to the “Seats”section for details.

Movin g the steerin g colu mn while the veh icle is
movin g is dangerou s. With out a stab le steerin g col-
umn you could lose control of the veh icle and have
an accid ent. Adjust the colu mn only while the ve-
hicle is stop ped.
TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) — IF
EQUIPPED
WARN ING!
TCS cannot preven t the natu ral law s of physics from
actin g on the veh icle, nor can it increase the traction
afford ed. The TCS cannot preven t accid ents, includ-
ing those resu ltin g from excessive speed in turns, or
hydrop lan ing. Only a safe, atten tive, and skillfu l
driver can preven t accid ents. The capabilities of a
TCS-eq uipped veh icle must never be exploited in a
reck less or dangerou s manner which could jeop ar-
dize the user’s safety or the safety of oth ers.
