The UConnect™ phonebook enables you to store up to 32
nam es and four nu mbers per nam e. This system is driven
throu gh you r Bluetooth™ Hand s-Free profile cellular
phone. UConnect™ featu res Bluetooth™ technology - the
global stand ard that enables different electronic devices
to connect to each other withou t wires or a docking
station, so UConnect works no matter where you stow
you r cellular phone (be it you r purse, pocket, or brief-
case), as long as you r phone is turned on and has been
paired to the vehicle’s UConnect™ system . The UCon-
nect™ system allow s up to seven cellular phones to be
linked to system . Only one linked (or paired ) cellular
phone can be used with the system at a time. The system
is available in English, Spanish, or French langu ages (as
equ ipped).
NOTE: For the best perform ance of the hand s-free
system ’s audio and voice recognition adjust the rear view
mirror to provid e at least a 1/ 2 inch gap (1 cm) betw een
the overhead console and the mirror.

The rearview mirror contains the microp hone for the
system and the control buttons that will enable you to
access the system . The diagram below show s the mirror
with the approp riate buttons. Ind ivid ual button behavior
is discussed in the ЉOperationЉ section.
Ucon nect Button s
The UConnect™ system can be used with any Hand s-
Free Profile certified Bluetooth™ cellular phone. If you r
cellular phone supports a different profile (eg., Head set
Profile), you may not be able to use any UConnect™
featu res. Refer to you r cellular service provid er or the
phone manu factu rer for details.
