Front And Rear Wheel Bearings

Front and rear wheel bearings are perm anently sealed .
No regu lar maintenance is requ ired for these compo-
nents.
The flu id level is preset at the factory and does not
req uire adjustm ent under norm al operatin g condi-
tion s. If a tran smission flu id leak occurs, visit you r
authorized dealer immediately. Severe damage to the
tran smission may occur. Your authorized dealer has
the prop er tools to accurately adjust the flu id level.

Vehicle bod y care requ irem ents vary accord ing to geo-
grap hic locations and usage. Chem icals that make road s
passable in snow and ice, and those that are sprayed on
trees and road surfaces during other seasons, are highly
corrosive to the metal in you r vehicle. Outsid e parking,
which exposes you r vehicle to airborne contam inants, 7
road surfaces on which the vehicle is operated , extrem e
hot or cold weather and other extrem e cond itions will
have an adverse effect on paint, metal trim , and und er-
bod y protection.

The follow ing maintenance recom mend ations will enable
you to obtain maxim um benefit from the corrosion
resistance built into you r vehicle.

Police, taxi, limousine, commercial typ e operation, or
trailer tow ing where the vehicle is driven regu larly for
more than 45 minu tes of continu ous operation.
If the transm ission is disassem bled for any reason, the
fluid and filter shou ld be changed .
