brak e lin es can overload you r brak e system and
cause it to fail. You migh t not have brak es when you
need them and could have an accid ent.
Autostick modes, and selecting a specific gear range,
frequ ent shifting can be avoid ed. The highest gear
range shou ld be selected that allow s for adequ ate
perform ance. For exam ple, choose “4” if the desired
speed can be maintained . Choose “3” or “2” if need ed
to maintain the desired speed .

Do not attem pt to tow a trailer while using a compact
spare tire.

speed may be requ ired to avoid extend ed driving at
high RPM. Retu rn to a higher gear range or vehicle
speed when road cond itions and RPM level allow s.

Whenever you pull a trailer, regard less of the trailer
size, stop lights and turn signals on the trailer are
recom mend ed for motoring safety.
The autom atic transm ission fluid and filter shou ld be
changed if you REGULARLY tow a trailer for more
than 45 minu tes of continu ous operation. See Sched ule
“B” in section 8 of this manu al for transm ission fluid
change intervals.
