THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING  YOUR VEHICLE
The wind ow  controls  will operate  only  when the  ignition
switch  is in  the ON  or  ACCESSORY position.

Inform ation   Center   (EVIC)  —  If   Equipped.    Refer  to
“Delay  Pow er Off to Accessories  Until  Exit”  und er “Per-
sonal   Settings”   in   the  Electronic   Vehicle   Inform ation
Center  section  of this  manu al  for details.
The wind ow  lock switch  on the  driver’s  door  allow s you
to disable   the  wind ow controls   on the  passenger   doors.
When  the lock  switch  is pressed  the  wind ow controls  on
the  passenger   doors  will not  illuminate   and  the  passen-
ger  wind ows will  be disabled  .
Auto  Up  Featu re with  Anti–Pin  ch  Protection —If
Equipped
Lift the wind  ow switch  to the second  detent,  release,  and
the  wind ow will  go up  autom atically.
Auto  Down  Featu re
The driver  door  power  wind ow  switch,  and  som e model
passenger   door   power  wind ow  switches   have   an  auto
down   featu re. Press   the  wind ow  switch  to  the  second
detent,  release,  and  the  wind ow will  go down  autom  ati-
cally.
To stop the  wind ow from  going all the  way up  during  the
auto-u p  operation,  push   down  on the  switch  briefly.
To close  the wind ow  part  way, lift the  wind ow switch  to
the first detent  and  release  when you  want  the wind ow to
stop .
To open  the  wind ow part  way,  press  the wind ow  switch
to  the  first   detent   and  release   it  when   you  want   the
wind ow  to stop .
The  power  wind ow  switches   rem ain active  for  10 min-
utes  after  the  ignition   switch  has   been  turned   off. The
time  is  custom er  program mable   throu gh  the  electronic
vehicle  inform ation  center (EVIC)—if  equ ipped.  Refer to
“Delay   Pow er  Off   to  Accessories   Until   Exit”   in  the
Electronic  Vehicle Inform ation  Center  section  for details.
Opening  either   front door  will  cancel  this  featu re.
