All gasoline sold in the United States is requ ired to
contain effective detergent additives. Use of additional
detergents or other additives are not need ed und er
norm al cond itions and would resu lt in additional cost.
Therefore you shou ld not have to add anything to the
fuel.

The use of fuel additives which are now being sold as
octane enhancers are not recom mend ed. Most of these
prod ucts contain high concentrations of methanol.
Fuel system damage or vehicle perform ance problem s
resu lting from the use of such fuels or additives are not
the resp onsibility of the manu factu rer and may not be 5
covered und er the New Vehicle Warranty.
